Why take karate?
There are several benefits to taking Karate!
Karate promotes a healthy lifestyle, increases cardiovascular health, overall well-being all the while teaching many techniques that can be used in everyday life.
Karate will help to improve your self-confidence, sincerity, effort and respect. Practising karate also helps to improve discipline and mental toughness. Karate-do at its foundation is a way of perfecting one’s character.

I don't know Japanese... will I still be able to take this class?
Of course! You do not need to be fluent in Japanese to take a karate class. You will learn general terms and basic phrases that will assist you in learning your techniques.
How do stretches improve flexibility?
Better flexibility may improve your performance in physical activities or decrease your risk of injuries by helping your joints move through their full range of motion.
When are the classes?
A mix of youth and adult classes are held on Mondays and Thursdays from 7pm to 9pm at
Bear Creek Pavilion in Surrey, BC.
Parents and spectators are welcome!
How much do the classes cost?
Classes are $65.00/month per person as well as special family rates are available!
